Sand casting

XAT has been providing high-quality castings to customers from all over the world for many years, and has accumulated a lot of sand casting experience and many successful production cases. At present, our foundry has two sand casting processes, namely clay sand horizontal molding line casting and shell mold casting, and we provide customers with the most suitable sand casting process according to the product conditions and performance requirements.

Horizontal molding line of clay sand

XAT's foundry has three automatic clay sand molding lines, each of which is about 328 feet long. We divide these three production lines according to the casting materials. After the sand boxes are filled with clay sand by machines, they are arranged on the casting lines in turn through the conveyor belt. Workers horizontally cast the molten metal in the Pouring ladle into the sand boxes, and the whole cavity is filled. After the castings are formed, they are cooled, and the sand boxes are manually broken and then transported to the vibrating machine along the conveyor belt for desanding, and finally the castings with initial shapes are obtained. Then the casting goes to the next workshop for further processing.

Shell mold casting

Compared with clay sand casting, this process has better dimensional accuracy, higher productivity and lower labor requirements. It is usually used for small and medium-sized parts that require high precision. At present, XAT has more than 30 shell molding machines.
